What if my credit is less than perfect? Should I still contact CRSC?
Yes. Our team has assisted hundreds of families and individuals over the years even if they had some sort of credit challenge. We will work hand in hand with you to try to resolve any issue. While every case is different, we take great pride in finding solutions.
What if I do not have property to build on? Do you offer property?
Yes. We always have many properties in inventory and are constantly acquiring new properties throughout St Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parish. There is no need to finance a piece of land on your own and wait years to pay it off. We can assist you with one of our Land/Home packages.
Do you only build in subdivisions?
We build in neighborhoods as well as in rural areas. Whether you are looking to stay in a subdivision or want acreage. We offer both!
What if I own land already? Can you build on my lot?
Yes. We can build on your land as well. We currently build in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parish.
What if I own land but do not want to build on my lot?
On a case by case basis, we can offer you a credit based on the value of your property towards another property we have, or simply swap properties depending on how the values work out. This means you are not bound to your land if you do not want to be.
Do I have to have a lot of money out of pocket to start the process?
No. We will assist you in getting financed and will determine which mortgage program suits you. Whether it is VA, FHA, RD, or Conventional - - - we can help you find the best mortgage solution for you. Some programs offer up to 100% financing. Plus, we have programs that can pay your closing cost and construction loan interest payments (effectively giving you anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 on average). This allows us to assist you in getting into your home with minimal money out of pocket.
Did you say these homes are custom? How much more does that cost?
Yes. Most of our homes are custom built. There is no excess charge for doing so. You will meet with our "in house" house plan designer to choose and customize your layout, colors, features, and every other detail that makes your home unique to you. Plus, you will have the capability of custom designing your home with our 3D design software so you can watch your home come to life before it is even built.
Are the smart technology features an upgrade or do they come standard with my home?
All of the smart features come standard with your home. You will have a keypad door lock , smart thermostat, security system, light dimmers (in 2 rooms) that are all controllable using your smart phone/tablet. There is also room to grow in case you want to add additional smart home features to your system later on.
Do you only build certain size homes?
No. We can build anything that you qualify for. We build everything from starter homes to over high end luxury homes. There is nothing too simple or too extravagant for us to take on. The good news is we use the same construction crews on every project from the very high end homes to the smaller ones. So you can rest assured that your home is built with the best care and quality.
